Am I missing something, or is there no way to put a link in a note in Impeller? My URLs aren't clickable.
I'm pretty sure I've seen people posting real links via Impeller, but I don't know how it's done.
EDIT: You can ask @aslamK, since he posted this note with Impeller and it has a proper link.

Fixed Ubuntu

Switching back to Ubuntu Unity (at least for now), so had to fix Ubuntu . You should too, but download and read the script before executing, rather than piping the download straight into `sh`.

First Time at The Broken Spoke

Dale Watson played. We danced much of the time. It was awesome, but that crowd gets ridiculously dense on the dance floor. Felt like other couples were playing bumper cars sometimes.

If anyone's tried (or still uses) both pump.io and diaspora*, I'd be interested to hear which you prefer and why (or why both are worth using). I'd rather run my own server, at low cost, so Heroku for diaspora* looks very appealing. (I'm also somewhat more comfortable owning a Rails app than a node app.)
Well, Pump was built as a core system with an API, so it can have web interfaces, desktop clients, mobile clients, and connect with all sorts of 3rd party services.
I think the potential is huge.

@[email protected] I agree with Jan. I run GNU Social, pump.io, and diaspora... All three since they first appeared as projects. I prefer overwhelmingly to use pump.io. It was designed as a core, so it is entirely constructed as a platform for stuff. It is the first social network where I found development so easy that I actually started developing.Stephen Sekula at 2014-10-12T18:07:02Z
