Seeking recommendations for a good Linux-friendly digital music store. Amazon seems to have finally made it impossible to get your purchases if you cannot install their exe.

Thanks Doug! I also came across 7digital.com which seems to have a big selection/high quality and doesn't lock out any particular platform.
Oh yeah, there are plenty of places to find music. I didn't feel like making an exhaustive list. Actually, for a certain type of distribution, I think http://www.actsofsilence.com/netlabels/ has a reasonably exhaustive list.
Also...
ccmixter.org is good.
dogmazic.net was good, but I haven't checked them out since they rebranded to http://musique-libre.org/

This is an awesome hack for the Adwaita theme in Gnome-Shell -- hide the title bar on maximized windows. Saves a ton of space on my laptop screen.

No, I don't have any special tools or techniques, other than minimize scrollback. These networks present themselves as a stream of updates, so I try not to go back in time. -

When someone asks me what alcohol I prefer, I always end up saying "bourbon and gin... also tequila, scotch ... and I guess whisky, vodka and rum too." Just realized I'm the same way with cats .. I like calicos, torties black, tuxedo, orange, tabby, long hair, white ... oh and gray I love gray cats.
