Who says public administration offices in Germany are boring? This one has its waiting queue numbers in hexadecimal (the number at the very left border), so you can learn while you wait. Perhaps queues were so long that regular decimal numbers overflowed?

MS Ooutlook webinterface and PayPal suck. Their password changing form field does NOT allow pasting of passwords, you really have to type in stuff (twice). How can I use securely generated passwords (and store them in a really safe place) if I am not allowed to paste a long string of random characters? Especially if Outlook forces me to change it every 3 months.

Trying to connect my pump.io account [email protected] with my old identi.ca account. However https://pump2status.net/add-account gives me:500 Error: Cannot POST /api/oauth/request_token
Doh, it just occured to me that I probably can't use that one on *@identi.ca as that is no longer based on status.net. Is there any way to continue using my old [email protected] handle?

Since identi.ca is no longer a StatusNet site, you can't connect them.
I'll see if I can get a better error, though.

Retrying pump.io. Discovering people was easier in the old status.net system where all posts were easily discoverable. But then, that is exactly what fine-grained privacy should prevent, I guess. Sigh.
Android's impeller client feels a bit clumsy. Still some way to go.
