Actually, looking at the API docs it wouldn't be too hard to add client support for reporting spam.

I agree with sazius, it is better to make a new feed. Evan Prodromou has stated that the ofirehose service is for developer use and should be sanitized before using the data. I like that it is unfiltered, it makes it possible to see the delay in the network.

Eventually clients will probably need to have a "what firehose?" option.

I don't think that function is exposed yet. I think there have only been a few spammers detected so far.

Is i3 a derivative of ion3 or were you just abbreviating it? I thought ion3 was out of development? I always say the pinnacle of my computing was freebsd+ion3+perl. Those were the days...
